Vehicle Paint Correction
Paint correction is the labor-intensive process which will fully restore and rejuvenate the paintwork of your vehicle by completely eliminating–not just covering up–any and all surface imperfections that are currently oxidizing, dulling or hazing the surface thereby detracting or distracting from that perfect, crystal clear reflection and finish you’re after.
The Process We Take
Paint Protection at Colbern’s Detailing is a multi-step process. First a thorough wash and decontamination of the vehicle is performed to ensure the removal of any loose dirt or debris. This is followed by a specialized claying to remove tar spots, industrial fallout, or any other potential bonded surface contaminants. Next, the polishing itself is performed using a range of grades of polish, from heavier cutting compounds for surface materials to finer polishes which will, in turn, remove any marks the heavier products may have left and ultimately refine the overall finish. Last, all panels will be wiped down with an isopropyl alcohol to remove any leftover oils and reveal the true finish of your vehicle.
Once completed, the restored paintwork will reflect and shine just as brilliantly as it did the day it rolled out of the showroom.
